#11 3-Step SOP & Communicating Your Vision With Realist (a.k.a parents)
Dear Breezers,
Before we begin, I want to start by explaining a bit about my writing style, which is called eco-biography. The purpose is to share random things I’ve learned in my environment from week to week—whether it's something from pop culture, history, or everyday life. Eco-biography reflects the spontaneous nature of learning, and staying curious. The more you know.

Business Review:
3-Step Statement Of Purpose; 1.The Mission 2. The Target Audience 3.The Why It’s important not to couch your ideas. When you choose to share an “out-of-the-box” statement, your communication must be clear. Keep in mind that parents often want you to be stable & successful, which can lead them to discourage risk ... Think of your 3-Step SOP as your insurance. Instead of giving an imprecise description and building resentment towards your parents, SOP them. In turn, you might receive the support you’re seeking
Example #1: Becoming a Personal Shopper
1.The Mission: “I want to…” guide clients to enhance their personal branding. The more confident you feel in what you’re wearing and where you’re going, the better you’ll feel—and the more you’ll attract.
2. The Target Audience: Anticipate questions like, "Who is going to buy this product or service?" The target audience for a PS includes individuals who can clearly afford such service, and established in their careers; investment bankers.
3.The Why: saving time. Investment bankers don’t have time to research new fashions, restaurants, etc. People like being taken care of
These points are essential in building your authority— “Yeah, there’s none of those jobs here—that’s in a dream world.” Individuals who are established and financially independent invest in a PS.

Example #2: Going back to university; phd in education
1.The Mission:
I want to become a leader in a school or organization one day.
2.The Target Audience:
Your parents & future jobs.
Check your school's and program’s website for guidance. Read articles. Gather one or two organizations and people who are currently working in your aspired role. This helps your parents to see the vision too.
3.The Why:
“I'm attending _______ because it will expose me to ______, which will help me achieve ______."
Example #3: Telling your roomate you’re moving out
1.The Mission:
To respectfully inform your roommate that you are moving out to buy a house with your boyfriend.
2.The Target Audience:
Your financial future and roomate.
3.The Why:
You’re done renting and ready to make your first financial investment.
Reminder: once you know your plan ⭐ communicate ⭐
Concept: “None to Tone” “Take something that is valued at $1 and sell it for $10.” — SP. A real-life example of this theory is Bank of America, originally known as Bank of Italy and founded by Italian-American A.P. Giannini. He capitalized on “wasted goodness” by purchasing near-expiration food—items still of good quality but close to their best-before date—and resold them for double or even triple the price.
Homework: Visit your local public library. Read biographies of individuals who have gone to the places you want to go.
For instance, my passion for hotels and the feeling that built environments bring you. Picture yourself staying at the Ritz-Carlton tonight, ordering chicken fingers in a plush white robe (heaven), the dreamiest date night. Its a feeling
Contrary, while doing my own homework on Hotels & built environments, reading The Business Philosophy of the Four Seasons, I unexpectedly learned that Isadore Sharp and The Four Seasons Hotels, started in Toronto, Ontario, and is now a global symbol of excellence and high standards. Fascinated my private member’s clubs, I learned his involvement with the Granite Club in Toronto. https://www.graniteclub.com/ Most celebs stay at The Four Seasons or Ritz Carleton and its mentioned in alot of rap songs. Doing your own learning and homework can help you connect the dots #thedeepermeaning #observer
